Having worked throughout the entire UK over many years in the commercial electrician and residential electrician markets, Surrey is without doubt the most interesting and diverse working environment. Primarily this is a result of Surrey being such an affluent area. We have been asked to carry out such interesting contracts it never surprises me what people ask for. Whether that’s using the latest lighting or control technology or just turning up to change a light bulb.
Our customers tend to be very discerning and rather than this being an issue I have found it has driven up our skill levels and our customer service skills levels beyond all recognition. When I started as an electrical contractor in Surrey we did not wear uniforms, our vans were not sign written and we barely knew what customer service meant. We certainly do today, our teams of engineers are all smartly dressed, drive clean vans and certainly know what the contracts manager will be saying to them if they do not behave professionally at all times. We strive to provide a level of service that anyone should expect when employing any company to come into their home or office, to carry out some electrical work. In this digital age we know one bad review can mean the loss of many potential customers and that’s not something our management team will put up with.
I suppose the key to our business and our marketing strategy is to retain every single customer. Although no company is perfect if anything goes wrong we put it right whatever the cost to us. Retaining customers and the trust they place inSky Electrical Ltd, usually results in recommendations to their friends and families. That is without doubt the cheapest form of advertising and the real key to our business.
